2010 glasses

Today's craft is for chldren to make (with your assistance). They are.... (drumroll) 2010 glasses! These glasses that were not my idea (details to follow) are made very simply from chenille sticks (or pipecleaners as they used to be called).

The step-by-step instructions with photos can be found on this site: http://www.makeandtakes.com/celebrate-2010-with-some-goofy-glasses (although basically all you do is cut the chenille sticks in half, twist them together and bend over the sticks to fit over the ears, simple, eh?) (I will be honest here, the kids will not wear them for very long, perhaps only as long as it takes to snap a photo but they look good just for that!
